No news today
There was no news today. The newspaper I bought was completely blank, nothing but the date, the editor’s name, and the margins.
Maybe that’s exactly what we need. Our minds are overwhelmed, constantly surrounded by noise. If we can’t spare five to ten minutes of silence, then perhaps reading empty pages is the closest we’ll get.
Sometimes, the blank space is the news. It’s a reminder to pause, breathe, and be present with ourselves.
