It is designed for an international audience interested in travel, culture, and cross-cultural understanding.

The Balkans are often spoken about from the outside. This book offers a personal, illustrated perspective from within, combining observation, satire, and visual storytelling.

Lida Berisha is an author and illustrator based in Norway. Her work focuses on migration, identity, belonging, and cultural narratives through illustrated fragment-based storytelling.
